Man.

Excuse me while I rant. Thanks.

It's like life can't get going any faster. I'm ready to go to college. I'm ready to live breathe and eat art. Well maybe not eat.

But at the same time, I find myself to truly be enjoying this semester of high school. AP Language/Composition may be my favorite. Or French 3. Definitely not Advanced Functions, which should basically just be called Algebra 3.

Yesterday in AP Lang I wrote a timed essay and I was super confident in it. I only got a 4/9. Which is still a 90 on the AP scale that Tolhurst is using right now, but still! I thought I at least pulled out a 6... Tomorrow I think we're going to start watching The Incredibles and delve into the themes and crap about movies. Which isn't necessarily bad, I think I may even take a film class in college!

I'm a teacher assistant third period, and I really enjoy grading papers and sitting at the teacher's desk, texting and doing homework. It's great. I wish I could do it next year too, but next year's gonna be jam-packed. 8 classes! That means no early release. But 3 of those 8 are going to be art classes, which will be awesome.

Speaking of art, I really want a hard-bound sketchbook and some charcoal pencils. I'm going to the art museum Saturday with a couple of friends and we're taking our sketchbooks. The only problem with that is my sketchbook doesn't really exist right now, but hopefully someday after school this week I can swing by the art store and grab some and a pack of charcoal pencils!

I've recently become addicted to Starbucks. I never thought it'd be me... The coffee-hater. I really don't like coffee. But all of a sudden all I ever want is a Mocha Frap or a Java Chip... Mmmm.

I think I've rambled enough for now. I haven't written in a long time so maybe this sort of makes up for it...

Bientot!
Alex
